HM311 wifi significantly worse than hm203 and LAN probs too
Hello.
I have 2 new cameras that are within a 6 feet of each other.
The HM203 smaller unit with only a built in antenna connects much quicker
to my iphone Heimvision app (spinning circle delay not too bad), VS
the HM311 that is also indoors, with a large external antenna that spins almost
always when trying to connect via the app and waiting waiting waiting.
Another strange issue, when reviewing recorded video, the blue bars indicating
recorded saved video (both units have same 128GB Sandisk micro SDXC cards) in the
Heimvision app show up for the HM203 but Not the HM311 (so I have to constantly
scan around trying to find recorded events "Hmm... no video at this time" - seen that
message a thousand times).
Is my HM311 defective ? (My Wifi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and it is connected on the supported 2.4GHz). How to switch it to LAN Cable and disable Wifi ? Doesn't seem to work in Heimvision app.

Thanks for your question.
First, please check whether the antenna of HM311 is in good condition. In addition, the distance between HM203 and HM311 and the router needs to be confirmed; too long distance will affect the WiFi signal, resulting in slower binding.
Second, pleaseto confirm whether the two devices have enabled cloud storage; whether the status of the HM311 SD card is in good condition or not, and provide the serial number and version information of the HM311, thanks.
Third, after the device is plugged into the LAN cable that can obtain DHCP, restart the device and the device will switch to the network cable connection.
