You don't have to purchase their overpriced hard drive.
Any SATA 1 TB or more hard drive will work.
I purchased a Western Digital 1 TB SATA drive for my system..$37.50
Simply pop off the cover and plug it in, and re-install the cover.
I used an old hard drive from a laptop, 2.5" 500gig and it worked fine, I forget the brand but I think it was a segate.
