Can you turn monitor screen on or off at any given time or will hm136 only turn off when you have the sleep mode timer on?

You can turn the monitor on and off whenever you want. You can also push the power button quickly and it will make the screen dark but keep the sound on so you can hear your baby but not see them. If you touch it again it comes back on. You have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds to turn it off.
