My HM241 camera can't read license plates even twenty feet away in the daylight. would an ethernet cable improve that ?

    There aren't too many cameras on the market that can read license plates. But 20 feet isn't very far.

    One thing I'll tell you is that this system allows you to switch on the fly from HD to SD.

    I have found the video quality in SD to be very good. Even from a distance.

    But if you need more sharpness I just flick cover 2 HD on my phone app and it sharpens look quite nice.

    I can see very small detail up to 30 or 40 feet away.
